1893 : Gandhi's first act of civil disobedience.
Mohandas K. Ghandi was forcibly ejected from a train in Pietermaritzburg, South Africa for refusing to comply with racial segregation rules. Ghandi made history several times over for his remarkable stance on peace and humanitarianism.
