Shout out to the Sicklers!
Since mine is acting up today I want to give an honorable mention to those notable sufferers that have beaten the odds, persevered and made a name for themselves. Fellow warriors, I feel your pain (literally). You are strong, inspirational leaders and pillars of our community. But first to dear relatives and friends who fought to the bitter end: Crafton, Roger - love you, miss you. To those that fight on; Kaz, Jayden, AT. And to those that light up the red carpet: T-Boz (TLC) who also recently struggled with a brain tumor, Mobb Deep - rapper (dunno much about him - apologies if he's a b'chs and h's rapper), Miles Davis - Jazz musician, the late Georgeanna Tillman of the Marvellettes (February 5, 1944 - January 6, 1980) and the late Paul Williams of the Temptations (July 2, 1939 – August 17, 1973).

 And finally Larenz Tate and brothers - not sure if you have it but thanks for all the work you do to raise awareness of Sickle Cell Disease. We salute you!
